Community/Social Services
Social Service agencies represent a vast array of nonprofit organizations
that have a corporate 501 (c) 3 structure and provide services to
the community to improve its social and individual welfare. Social
Service programs seek to meet individuals’ needs through social
change at the community, organizational, societal, and global levels.
Social Service agencies blend an array of services in response
to the overwhelming need for improvement in the lives of individuals.
The programs offered by Social Service Agencies promote the economic
and social well-being of families, children, individuals and communities.
They aim to achieve family and individual empowerment to increase
economic independence and productivity, and they strive to promote
strong, healthy, supportive communities that have a positive impact
on the quality of life and the development of children.
We have recently added New classes to ISA's Social
Service Program - Head Start Programs, Community Action Agencies,
Big Brother/Big Sister Organizations, Boys and Girls clubs and Non-Profit
Rural Transportation for elderly or disabled are now eligible.
